WWE’s return to New Orleans has been delayed, again.
Money in the Bank 2026, an upcoming Premium Live Event which has long been expected for the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, has a new date.
The show is now scheduled to take place on October 10, the company confirmed on Monday.
Money in the Bank 2026 was originally planned for August 29, back when it was announced a little over a year ago. The event was what New Orleans received after WWE made the sudden announcement to move Wrestlemania 42 away from the city, instead bringing it to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.
Last fall, it was announced that Money in the Bank would be delayed a week, instead taking place on September 6. The latest announcement delays the show by another month altogether.
Money in the Bank has historically been a summer event, with the show mainly being held in June or July over the past decade and a half. This year, it will instead be part of the company’s Fall programming, something it has never been before.
Tickets for the event will go on sale July 10, the company announced this week. A pre-sale will open a day prior.
