IYO SKY has defeated Liv Morgan at WWE Night of Champions to become the 2026 Queen of the Ring.

Immediately after the match, SKY made clear that she had chosen Morgan and the Women’s World Championship for her SummerSlam challenge.

Before the match, Danhausen appeared on the stage and addressed the crowd in Riyadh. He said he had come into a substantial amount of “human monies” to continue his experiments before Morgan interrupted him.

Morgan said Danhausen owed money to Judgment Day and told him to pay up. Danhausen denied knowing what she meant and cursed her. Morgan responded by slapping him before heading to the ring.

SKY had an early burst of offense and attempted a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor, but Morgan blocked it before SKY later hit a crossbody from the barricade.

Morgan took control by sending SKY headfirst into the ring post. Back in the ring, Morgan hit a running knee in the corner, applied a hanging choke, and landed the Three Amigos before following with an enzuigiri for a near fall.

SKY rallied with strikes, a flapjack, a missile dropkick, and a Meteora in the corner. She later hit an Asai moonsault to Morgan on the floor and a double underhook backbreaker for another near fall.

Morgan created the opening she needed by pushing SKY from the top rope. SKY landed on the ring steps and injured her knee, which Morgan immediately targeted with a half crab in the middle of the ring.

SKY fought out, but her knee continued to give way. Morgan capitalized with a codebreaker for a near fall and later looked for Ob-Liv-ion, but SKY avoided it.

The finish came after the two fought on the top rope. SKY hit a Spanish Fly, then followed with Over the Moonsault to pin Morgan.

After the match, Nick Aldis presented SKY with the Queen of the Ring crown. Byron Saxton interviewed her in the ring, where she pointed to Morgan and said she would see her at SummerSlam.
