For the second year in a row, AEW’s biggest annual pay-per-view will be running up against some competition.

WWE has announced a doubleheader of afternoon events for August 30 at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas. After the Lucha Libre brand AAA presents a card at 12 p.m. ET, NXT’s annual Heatwave Premium Live Event (PLE) will take place at 3 p.m. ET.

Both shows are expected to run at the same time as AEW’s All In pay-per-view, which takes place that same day at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

WWE and AEW overlapping each other’s programming is nothing new.

A series of AEW pay-per-views went head-to-head with WWE shows last year. All In: Texas aired the same day as NXT’s Great American Bash, last year’s Heatwave went on the same day as Forbidden Door, and Wrestlepalooza took place on the same day as All Out.

Just yesterday, the 2026 Forbidden Door event went live at the same time as NXT’s latest Great American Bash.

Due to what looks like a counterprogramming effort, fans will have to pick and choose what they’d like to watch on August 30.

Tickets for the upcoming events in Texas will go on sale July 8.
