Reports earlier this week made it clear that Perry’s previous deal was nearing its end. Prior to the announcement on Wednesday night, it wasn’t clear whether he had re-signed with the company.
29-year-old Perry has been with AEW since the very start in 2019. His time with the company has included a tag title run alongside Luchasaurus as Jurassic Express, as well as numerous singles campaigns.
Perry had a brief stint as AEW National Champion earlier this year, winning the belt at Revolution before later dropping it to Mark Davis on an episode of Collision.
