Jim Ross is back home following a lengthy hospital stay but will undergo brain surgery soon.
The AEW broadcaster hosted his first episode of Grilling JR since returning home and shared an update on his condition.
Ross expects to be in the hospital for a few days, with the surgery to take place in the next week or so without a firm date locked in. He passed out in his home and was discovered, leading to nearly forty days in the hospital.
The operation is necessary to remove fluid from his brain with the expectation of a short hospital stay. He said it’s not an optional procedure if he wants to improve his condition, including memory issues, but admitted: “It’s a little scary to be honest with you.”
Ross’ last appearance for AEW occurred at Double or Nothing this past May at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. The 74-year-old has been through a litany of health problems over the years, including recent bouts with skin and colon cancer.
