A hectic ladder match has been added to this weekend’s AEW pay-per-view in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The next challenger for the AEW International Championship will be determined at Redemption on Sunday night through a six-way ladder match, Tony Khan announced via social media on Wednesday night.
It’s confirmed that the #1 contenders bout will include Jack Perry, Komander, Quebec’s own Mike Bailey, and, returning after a long absence due to visa issues, The Beast Mortos.
The final two spots will be decided via qualifier bouts, which will take place on Saturday’s edition of Collision. AR Fox will face Nick Wayne, and ROH World Television Champion Lio Rush will meet El Clon, who will be coming back to AEW TV after months away.
The AEW International Championship is currently held by Kyle Fletcher, although that could change by the end of this weekend. Fletcher is scheduled to defend against Bandido as part of Sunday’s show.
Here’s an updated look at Sunday’s PPV lineup from Quebec. While not finalized, it’s also expected that a tag bout between The Dogs and the Bang Bang Gang will be added to the card as well.
