Keys & OTM Attack
Monday Night Raw (pre-taped) from Cleveland kicked off with The Usos arriving at the arena and immediately being attacked by Royce Keys and OTM. Jey Uso’s face was pixelated, seemingly because of blood, and the video feed cut out when the team slammed Jimmy onto their car’s rear window. Jacob Fatu arrived, and Keys and OTM fled in a car.

Intercontinental Championship
Sol Ruca was out next for her title shot at Raquel Rodriguez’s Intercontinental title. Both women’s entrances were split-screen with ongoing footage of The Usos laid out in the back, Jey’s face still half-pixelated. Before the match began, Jacob Fatu got on the mic and cut a promo, saying he was going to dogwalk Keys and OTM. Fatu continued, cursing multiple times, which Netflix censored, and then his mic was cut off. Fatu stormed off, knocking over the podium holding the Women’s IC title and the ringside barricade.

Back in the ring, the match began with Rodriguez taking it to Ruca, but Ruca quickly gained control after hitting a back handspring out of the ring and onto Rodriguez on the floor. That didn’t last long, though, as Rodriguez used her strength to regain dominance over Ruca. After a commercial break, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan ran down, but Ruca took them out before they could interfere. Back in the ring, Liv Morgan distracted the referee when Lyra Valkyria appeared, stopping a Sol Snatcher and allowing Rodriguez to hit the Tejada Bomb for the win.

A vignette aired highlighting Penta and Fenix ahead of their #1 Contender’s Tournament final match later tonight.
IC Title Match for Mexico City
Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable came out to cut an in-ring promo, saying his real work starts now and he wouldn’t be champion without the Mexican people. He announced that Monday Night Raw is returning to Mexico for the first time in fifteen years, and he will defend the IC title. With that, he brought out Dragon Lee and said Adam Pearce allowed him to select his opponent. Ethan Page interrupted and suggested himself as Gable’s opponent. Gable said Page was on his list, just not near the top, and that he’d be right below Honky Tonk Man. Page said that Honky Tonk Man was one of the longest-reigning IC champs of all time. Dragon Lee challenged Ethan Page to a match, and Chad Gable announced that the winner would face him for the title in Mexico.

After a commercial break, the match between Lee and Page began as Page took control early on. After a commercial break, Dragon Lee was fighting from underneath, as Page shut down multiple comeback attempts. Finally, Lee ran and jumped over the top rope and caught Page with a rana while Page was positioned on the floor. Page then threw Dragon Lee into Chad Gable, who was sitting at ringside. Gable distracted the referee, and Page exposed the turnbuckle, but the referee decided not to count the pinfall in a bizarre spot. Page started arguing and got hit with the Operation Dragon for the win.

Reigns Returns to Raw (Again)
Roman Reigns was seen arriving at the arena and running into Jacob Fatu, who informed him of what happened with Royce and OTM. Reigns said that Royce was Jacob’s problem and told him to handle it. He finished, “Everything else is my problem.”

Reigns came down to the ring and said he should be talking about Penta and Fenix, but instead he had to address Solo Sikoa. Reigns said Sikoa threw away his family for LA Knight, and Knight immediately interrupted. Knight said that he has been chasing Reigns for months, but Reigns keeps finding ways of avoiding him. LA got in the ring, but a backstage video appeared on the screen with Solo Sikoa bloodied and pixelated. Knight ran to the back to see what was going on and started a screaming match with Jacob Fatu, only to be hit with a Superman Punch as Reigns had followed him back. There was also another guy on the ground with Solo, but it wasn’t acknowledged, and it wasn’t obvious who it was.

Another Lola Vice vignette aired, dated 9/14.
Mysterio & McDonagh vs. Evans & Hendry
Next, Dominik Mysterio took on Je’Von Evans. Before the match, footage showed Big Cass’s prior attacks on Evans. Evans and Mysterio traded blows until after a commercial; JD McDonagh got involved, leading to a disqualification. Joe Hendry ran down to make the save, taking out both members of Judgment Day. Adam Pearce appeared and restarted the match as a tag match. Hendry and Evans had control, with Judgment Day on the ropes until McDonagh tagged in Dominik without Evans realizing it. Evans fought from underneath, building to a hot tag to Hendry, who hit a double fallaway slam on both Dom and JD. For some reason, Dom distracted the referee, allowing JD to hit a headbutt on Hendry – that would not require a referee distraction and would just be an admonishment – and Dom hit the Frogsplash for the win.

Becky Lynch’s backstage interview was immediately interrupted by Stephanie Vaquer, who asked why Becky helped her last week. She denied helping her, then admitted she appreciated someone who helped her fight off three people at once. Becky said Stephanie owed her one, but Vaquer denied it. Vaquer warned Becky to stay away from her.

A Bron Breakker / Oba Femi vignette aired ahead of their match this weekend at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Backstage, Paul Heyman said that both Femi and Breakker must win their match at SNME, and the loser will be tarnished in the public’s perception. Heyman concluded that he had no predictions or spoilers, and anyone’s guess was as good as his.
Judgment Day celebrated their wins in their clubhouse, with Liv saying she wasn’t worried about Vaquer or Lynch and that she would beat Vaquer next week.

#1 Contender’s Tournament Final
The main event of the night was the final of the #1 Contender’s Tournament, featuring two brothers and former tag partners going one-on-one as Penta squared off against Rey Fenix. The match started with each brother answering the other’s offense; the two seemed evenly matched. Penta hit Fenix with a big dive to the outside as the show went to ad break. Upon return, the tables had turned, and Penta was fighting from underneath. After another commercial, Penta began to mount a comeback against Fenix, hitting him with a backstabber. Fenix recovered and hit a huge springboard moonsault, landing on Penta’s head and shoulders. Penta countered Fenix’s offense with a pop-up that he turned into a flipping powerbomb on Fenix. Fenix stopped an attempt at the Mexican Destroyer by flipping out of it and landing on his feet.

Fenix attempted the Mexican Muscle Buster, but Penta countered with the Penta Driver for a big near fall. The action made its way to the outside, and Penta hit Fenix with the Penta Driver through the announce desk. He took quite some time to get Fenix back in the ring, and when he finally did, Fenix was able to kick out.

Penta applied the Sacrifice armbreaker on Fenix, and Fenix screamed for Penta to “kill him,” goading Penta into a near fall after a Rana. Penta recovered, hitting a massive Mexican Destroyer for the win. This was awesome. Roman Reigns came back out for the staredown as the show ended.
