New Japan Pro Wrestling’s year-end World Tag League will kick off in November, with dates for the tournament released by the promotion.
On Tuesday, NJPW revealed sixteen World Tag League shows, beginning on November 23 and running through December 13, with the final night scheduled for Kumamoto.

■December 4th (Fri) Kochi, Kochi Prefectural Citizens’ Gymnasium
■December 5th (Sat) Ehime, Kihoku General Park Gymnasium
■December 6th (Sun) Yamaguchi – Iwakuni City General Gymnasium
■ December 8th (Tue) Nagasaki – Dejima Messe Nagasaki

Traditionally, the winning team earns a shot at the IWGP Tag Titles at Wrestle Kingdom at the Tokyo Dome.
Through various naming conventions, the Tag League dates to 1976. Bishamon’s Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI have won the Tag League three times, holding the record for most victories. Last year’s Tag League final saw Zack Sabre Jr. & Ryohei Oiwa beat Gabe Kidd & Yota Tsuji in the final.
