NXT has released the brackets for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, with the tournament beginning tonight.
Fourteen teams will be part of the single-elimination tournament, with NXT tag champions Vanity Project and AAA champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno receiving first-round byes.
Left Side of Bracket:
- Stacks Lorenzo & Uriah Connors vs. Mini Vikingo & Chazz Hall (the winners face Vanity Project)
- Fraxiom vs. Cutler James & Osiris Griffin
- Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno vs. Los Americanos
Right Side of Bracket:
- Kento & Takuma vs. Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux (winners face El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno)
- The Creeds vs. Harley Riggins & Jax Presley
- Shido Ash & Viktor Zanov vs. Hank & Tank
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins tonight with Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno facing Los Americanos, and The Creeds take on Harley Riggins & Jax Presley.
The first iteration of the tournament occurred in 2015, with ten tournaments over the past eleven years. The last version was won by Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker two years ago.
