AEW All Out Tailgate Brawl Results: Bang Bang Gang wins, Samoa Joe confronts Jack Perry

The Bang Bang Gang won the main event of AEW’s All Out Tailgate Brawl, the one-hour special preceding Saturday’s pay-per-view.

The broadcast from NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, also featured Jack Perry defeating Katsuyori Shibata before coming face-to-face with Samoa Joe.

Jack Perry vs. Katsuyori Shibata

Perry and Shibata opened with a measured exchange before the match became increasingly physical, with both trading chops and suplexes around the apron and floor.

Perry caught Shibata in the Snare Trap after countering a Penalty Kick, but Shibata escaped and responded with a series of kicks.

Shibata later attempted a rear naked choke. Perry rolled through the hold and caught him in a bridging pin for the three-count.

Perry immediately called for Samoa Joe.

HOOK, Action Andretti & Anthony Bowens appeared first before Joe eventually made his entrance to a strong reaction.

Perry offered his hand, but Joe initially turned away. When Perry stopped him and demanded the handshake, the crowd broke into a “You f—ed up” chant.

Joe responded by knocking Perry to the mat before leaving with The Opps, further escalating Perry’s pursuit of a match with him.

Sisters of Sin vs. Queen Aminata & Mina Shirakawa

Julia Hart & Skye Blue picked up the victory in the second match of the hour.

Aminata and Shirakawa combined effectively during the closing stretch, including a double stomp from Aminata while Blue was trapped in Shirakawa’s figure-four.

The match broke down with all four involved before Aminata hit Blue with a swinging neckbreaker.

Shirakawa then appeared ready to tag out, but Hart pulled Aminata from the apron and sent her into the ringside barricade.

That left Shirakawa isolated, allowing Blue to hit Code Blue for the pin.

Bang Bang Gang vs. The Dogs & Death Riders

Mick Foley appeared backstage before the main event with the Bang Bang Gang and “Coach” Juice Robinson as the group leaned into the football theme of the Tailgate Brawl.

The no-disqualification match began with all eight wrestlers charging at one another, while footballs, helmets, a keg and other tailgate props soon became involved.

Ace Austin ran through the opposition after charging down the entrance ramp with a football and later hit a Fosbury Flop onto Garcia and Yuta.

Jay White followed by diving from the top rope onto a group at ringside while holding a football.

Austin Gunn later hit Finlay with a Fameasser onto a keg, but Marina Shafir broke up the pin. That brought Robinson into the ring, where his argument with Shafir turned physical before she threw him to the floor.

Finlay then struck Gunn with a football helmet for a near fall.

Clark Connors was subsequently shoved from the top rope onto a grill at ringside as the match entered its closing sequence.

Garcia took 3:10 to Yuma before Yuta attempted to steal a pin. White intervened and hit Yuta with the Blade Runner for the victory, with the Tailgate Brawl ending moments before the start of the All Out pay-per-view.
