Persephone retained the TBS Championship against surprise challenger Dani Luna at AEW All Out.
Luna answered the champion’s open challenge at NOW Arena, making her AEW debut with Dr. Britt Baker accompanying Persephone at ringside.
The challenger established herself early with a series of power moves, including an overhead suplex and sliding lariat for a two-count.
Baker soon became involved. With referee Aubrey Edwards distracted, she knocked Luna from the ropes, allowing Persephone to follow with a suicide dive.
Luna recovered and began to build momentum, catching Persephone with a missile dropkick and later using the ropes to pull the champion back into the ring with a release German suplex for a near fall.
Persephone responded with a German suplex on the ring apron and later applied a double wristlock, but Luna fought free and took the champion down with a lariat.
The challenger came close again after another lariat and a fireman’s carry slam, only for Baker to grab Luna by the hair from ringside and interrupt the pinning attempt.
Luna responded by diving through the ropes onto Baker, but Persephone followed with a dive of her own.
Back at the apron, Luna attempted another release German suplex into the ring. Baker held onto Persephone’s legs, preventing the move and giving the champion an opening.
Persephone then pulled Luna back inside and hit the Razor’s Edge for the three-count.
The victory continued Persephone’s reign as TBS Champion, while Luna produced a competitive showing in her first AEW appearance.
