Gurv Sihra has said his collapsed lung is healing well, a week after suffering the injury during a match in Alberta.
The Bollywood Boyz member provided an update on Saturday after undergoing further X-rays, saying his trauma doctor was encouraged by his progress.
Back at the hockey rink today with some positive news: I am not 100% yet, however, my trauma doctor said, X-rays show I’m on the right path to recovery & my collapsed lung is healing. 🙏🏽

Sihra suffered a pneumothorax while teaming with his brother Harv at a Pure Power Wrestling event in Lethbridge, Alberta, on September 19.
Sihra said afterward that he had begun struggling to breathe during the match but managed to finish it. Once backstage, he was unable to get to his feet and continued having difficulty breathing before receiving medical attention.
Hospital X-rays subsequently revealed that his right lung had collapsed.
In his initial account of the incident, Sihra said the emergency-room doctor told him he was fortunate to be alive. He also wrote that his thoughts turned to his son as he struggled to breathe, including whether he would be able to continue taking him to hockey.
Saturday’s update showed Sihra back at the ice rink with his son, although he stressed that his recovery is not yet complete.
He has further medical tests to undergo and has not given a timetable for returning to the ring.
