Bayley returned to her old stomping grounds on Sunday night.
The WWE star made a surprise appearance at the 35th anniversary show for California-based independent promotion Big Time Wrestling over the weekend. Footage captured by attendees shows her appearing as a special guest referee and raising the arm of WWE ID talent Chazz Hall following a match.

In a video posted to Big Time Wrestling’s Instagram Story, Bayley was seen thanking fans for attending the event.
Long before her years as a main event player in WWE, Bayley got her start on the independents in Big Time Wrestling. She appeared over 30 times for the company from 2008 to 2012, wrestling for them right up until she signed with WWE.
Big Time Wrestling has continued to promote events in California ever since, mainly running events in Newark.
Sunday’s show took place at the San Jose Civic Center.
