A number of subjects touched on by Rollins.

During the summer of 2019, there was a back-and-forth on Twitter between Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay. The exchange included a comment from Rollins about comparing their banks accounts, which he apologized for soon after.

The back-and-forth stemmed from Ospreay responding to a comment from Rollins about WWE being the best pro wrestling in the world.

Cameron Hawkins of The Ringer interviewed Rollins and the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion called Ospreay one of the best performers in the world. He’s glad Ospreay is getting to the top of the wrestling industry and with hindsight, he reflected on his comments from 2019.

(Will Ospreay) is absolutely one of the best performers in the world, and I’m happy that he is finally, you know, getting to the very top level in our industry… Well (the reason I tweeted what I did back in 2019), not everybody has taken this stance over the years, but to me, WWE is my home, right? These people that I go to battle with every week on these live events and these TVs—and I’m not talking just the talent; I’m talking about the whole team, the production, the creative—love it or hate it, we’re the best. And I’ve been a proponent of these people in my family and had their back for years because I believe that, and I believe in the work we all put together to make this industry the best it possibly can be.

Ospreay is on the same talent roster as Jon Moxley, a former partner of Rollins’ in The Shield. Rollins touched on where him, Roman Reigns and Moxley are in their respective careers. He feels they’re leading the charge for the next generation.

We were all using The Shield as a catalyst to take over the industry and to rebuild it in our image, and if you look at where all of us are sitting right now, I think we’re exactly where we thought we would be in some capacity 12 years ago when we started this journey together. Mox is over in AEW being a revolutionary, trying to reframe everything in his image. Roman sits at the head of the table, as he believes he should, and here I am hustling, busting my ass every single week to try to make the future of the industry better. We’re leading the charge for the next generation and what the future of business is going to look like.

At WrestleMania 40, Rollins is going to be in marquee matches on both nights. Night one, he’ll be tagging with Cody Rhodes to take on Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Rock.

Following up on night two, Rollins is going to be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. On the 3/25 Raw, there was a segment to build to the title bout involving Rollins, McIntyre and CM Punk. Rollins feels that Raw may have been the best episode of the show he’s ever been a part of.

In (the) 12 years that I’ve been here, I think this (3/25 WWE Raw) may be the best episode of Monday Night Raw I’ve ever been a part of. You had incredible talent across the board, everybody pushing boundaries in front of an electric-hot crowd in Chicago.

For Rollins and McIntyre’s match, CM Punk is going to be on commentary

Punk stated in an interview that he believes the plan prior to tearing his triceps was for him to main event night one of WrestleMania by challenging Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title.
