This week at POST Wrestling, we have another big week of shows that will lead into this Sunday’s New Japan Pro Wrestling card from Long Beach, California.
It’s the NJPW Destruction in Kobe POST Show with John Pollock & Wai Ting reviewing the entire card from Kobe featuring Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada.
POST Wrestling’s WH Park reviews the film “My Dad is a Heel Wrestler” starring Hiroshi Tanahashi. The film also features Kazuchika Okada, Togi Makabe, Ryusuke Taguchi and other New Japan Pro Wrestling regulars in smaller roles and WH has a full review of the movie.
Episode 14 sees Chris Charlton and Lee Daly look at 2002, a year of radical change and dissent within NJPW. As many standbys left the promotion, some new faces appeared, significantly Joanie Laurer and Bob Sapp. Antonio Inoki also sought to bring the MMA flavoured UFO to the dome.
In this review of the second Marvel Cinematic Universe film, John Pollock and Wai Ting discuss Edward Norton’s role as both lead actor and writer, his romantic chemistry with Liv Tyler, the controversy of Marvel replacing him with Mark Ruffalo for subsequent films, and the circumstances of the film’s release only five years after Ang Lee’s Hulk (2003).

Raw took place from Dallas and featured the official announcement of WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia with a triple threat match for the Universal title, The Undertaker returns to address Triple H, Roman Reigns defends the Universal title against Baron Corbin, and Ronda Rousey learns the art of the Open Challenge. Plus, a review of the top matches from NJPW’s Destruction in Beppu show.
