On Thursday, the G1 Climax featured the B Block tournament matches from Yokohama, Japan and was headlined by Tomohiro Ishii taking on Shingo Takagi.

In a sensational main event, Takagi defeated Ishii with the Last of the Dragon in one of the tournament’s top matches. It capped off a terrific show with the B Block on display heading into the final three nights at Budokan Hall.

Earlier in the show, Jay White submitted Juice Robinson with the TTO, Hirooki Goto pinned Jon Moxley after executing the GTR, Tetsuya Naito defeated Jeff Cobb with the Destino, and Toru Yano scored a countout victory over Taichi.

Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, and Juice Robinson were eliminated based off Thursday’s results.

Going into the weekend with one match remaining in the block, there is a four-way tie involving Jon Moxley, Hirooki Goto, Jay White, and Tetsuya Naito with ten points each.

On the final day, Moxley will face Robinson and Goto faces Takagi with the card headlined by Tetsuya Naito vs. Jay White.
