On Thursday, WWE announced that next year’s SummerSlam weekend will take place from Boston with four consecutive nights at the TD Garden.
The following dates were released for SummerSlam weekend:
Friday, August 21st – SmackDown Live on Fox
Saturday, August 22nd – NXT TakeOver
Sunday, August 23rd – SummerSlam
Monday, August 24th – Raw
The last time SummerSlam took place in Boston was in August 2006 with a pay-per-view featuring Edge vs. John Cena for the WWE title, Vince & Shane McMahon vs. Triple H & Shawn Michaels, and Hulk Hogan’s last match inside a WWE ring when he took on Randy Orton.
