The NWA will be holding their own set of television tapings this fall with an announcement coming from Billy Corgan on Wednesday evening.

The tapings are set for Monday, September 30th and Tuesday, October 1st at a venue to be announced in Atlanta, Georgia.

Corgan outlined the contrast of studio wrestling when he grew up to the present day demands where fans are accustomed to high production values with Corgan promising to be ‘unscripted’ and ‘uncensored’.

In 2017, Corgan purchased the rights to the name and the brand of the NWA while also maintaining licensing agreement allowing access to the video library of Houston wrestling.

Since Corgan’s takeover of the NWA, the brand has worked alongside other promotions, most notably Ring of Honor and having a big part in last year’s ‘All In’ event where Nick Aldis defended the NWA title against Cody.

On their own, they have held two pay-per-view events with the NWA’s 70th-Anniversary card last October the Crockett Cup this past April.

Recently, it was announced that the NWA and Ring of Honor had gone their separate ways with the NWA no longer part of this week’s Summer Supercard event in Toronto they were initially part of.

Beyond the dates and the city, there were no other details regarding the NWA’s tapings this fall, including an outlet for the shows.
