Booker T confirms that AQA has signed with WWE

It was reported in January that AQA is going to be a part of the next WWE Performance Center class and Booker T confirmed her signing.

WWE’s latest Performance Center class was announced in early December and was headlined by the likes of Nash Carter (Zachary Wentz), Wes Lee (Dezmond Xavier) and Alex Zayne. In a January edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that independent wrestler AQA, full name Angela Quentina Arnold is going to be a part of the next Performance Center class.

AQA was trained by Booker T at his Reality of Wrestling school in Texas. While Booker was doing an interview with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, he confirmed that AQA has been signed by WWE.

I love still being a part of the company [WWE], watching the growth, watching the young guys do their thing. Still being relevant, in a sense, giving back. With my school, one of my students, AQA, Angela, she just got signed with WWE.

WWE made three additions to their women’s division in January as Priscilla Kelly, Elayna Black and Lacey Ryan were signed. Priscilla, Elayna and Lacey have made their on-screen debuts as a part of the women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. The finals of the women’s Dusty Classic is taking place at NXT TakeOver on 2/14.
