New Japan’s Super Junior Tag League featured three matches in the A Block on Tuesday as the round-robin portion nears its conclusion.

The teams of DOUKI & Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori came out of Tuesday’s show in Ibaraki with six points each, each having one more round-robin match before next week’s final.

DOUKI & Kanemaru defeated Místico & Masatora Yasuda (a late substitution for the injured El Desperado) in the main event. The House of Torture interference caused a numbers imbalance, and Místico was unable to save his partner, who was struck by the whiskey from Kanemaru and Suplex de la Luna by DOUKI.

Robbie & Ishimori improved to 3-1 in the A Block, beating Master Wato & KUUKAI after X used the X Xpress to pin KUUKAI.

Elsewhere, Ryusuke Taguchi & Kazuma Sumi beat KUSHIDA & Nick Wayne in a seventeen-minute match, ending with Taguchi rolling up KUSHIDA for the cover and increasing their point total to four.

The final A Block matches are Saturday in Kyoto with Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori vs. Nick Wayne & KUSHIDA, DOUKI & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Master Wato & KUUKAI, and Místico & Masatora Yasuda vs. Ryusuke Taguchi & Kazuma Sumi.

The winning teams from A and B Blocks will meet in the final at Power Struggle next Tuesday in Hiroshima.
