NJPW has issued an update that three Korakuen Hall events have been canceled due to the state of emergency affecting Tokyo.

The company has canceled the following three shows at Korakuen Hall:

Saturday, May 8th
Monday, May 10th
Tuesday, May 11th

The shows were part of the “Road to Wrestle Grand Slam” tour leading to shows at Yokohama Stadium on May 15th and the Tokyo Dome on May 29th.

A state of emergency was issued last week for Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo after a rise in COVID-19 cases. The restrictions will last until at least May 11th.

NJPW is scheduled to run back-to-back nights in Kagoshima this week with the Wrestling Satsuma no Kuni events on Wednesday and Thursday. The annual Wrestling Dontaku events are scheduled for May 3rd and May 4th in Fukuoka.
