New Japan Pro-Wrestling is in the middle of their Kizuna Road tour that wraps up in early July. Following this tour is their Summer Struggle series of shows that begins on July 10th.

Two championship matches have been added to the 7/10 and 7/11 Summer Struggle in Sapporo shows. The reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion El Desperado is scheduled to defend his title on 7/10 against former two-time Junior Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori is going to be teaming with El Phantasmo on the 6/23 Kizuna Road show and they’ll be challenging SHO and YOH for the Junior Tag Titles.

Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr., who recently defeated Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles are putting their belts on the line against SANADA and Tetsuya Naito on 7/11.

NJPW will be running the Tokyo Dome on July 25th. Headlining that show is an IWGP Heavyweight Title bout as the champion Shingo Takagi meets the challenger Kota Ibushi.

The company is also holding two events at the MetLife Dome in Tokorozawa, Japan. Those events are scheduled to take place on September 4th and 5th.
