Becky Lynch addresses the issues between herself and Charlotte Flair.

Coming out of the October 22nd SmackDown, it was reported by PWInsider that SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch had a confrontation after their title exchange segment. The two were supposed to swap titles but when Lynch reached for it, Flair dropped the title on the ground. The report noted that Flair expressed concerns about the segment earlier in the day.

Flair and Lynch are scheduled to go one-on-one at Survivor Series and Becky Lynch recently spoke to Jimmy Traina on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast. When asked about the reported issues between herself and Flair, she said sometimes the locker room needs a hero and she has no problem being that.

All I’ll say is the locker room needs a hero sometimes and sometimes somebody’s gotta be a hero and I’m alright being that hero.

Oh 100 percent [it’s more difficult to work with someone when there’s a personal issue between you]. 100 percent more difficult. When you’ve got two people that are wanting to work together to make magic, then you make magic. Sometimes when there’s hostility, when you can’t trust a person, then you never know what’s gonna happen.

Lynch was asked if she trusts Charlotte and said ‘no’. That was followed up with if things are difficult between them and she responded ‘yes’.

No [I don’t trust Charlotte Flair]. Yes [things are difficult between us].

The last time Becky and Charlotte went one-on-one was in October of 2019. To get a look at the Survivor Series lineup, click here.
