Petey Williams is joining WWE full-time, per report.
The WWE is bringing Petey Williams on-board in a full-time producer spot, as first reported by Fightful Select. The site noted that Williams had been on a trial run with WWE since late October and this week, he signed his contract with the company.
Petey Williams previously worked with IMPACT Wrestling as a producer and in-ring talent. Williams’ last televised match for IMPACT was the 10/14 episode of their weekly TV show.
This is Petey’s first go-around at WWE throughout his two decades in wrestling.
WWE had Jimmy Wang Yang on a trial run recently and he would later clarify that they opted not to move forward with him as a producer.
