After losing to Rey Mysterio on the kickoff portion of WWE’s Elimination Chamber, The Miz cut a promo teasing a partner for a future match.

The Miz was interviewed by Kevin Patrick on the broadcast and complained about being outnumbered by Rey & Dominik Mysterio during the kickoff match. The Miz stated he would need to make a phone call and contact “a superlative athlete”.

PWinsider.com reported that the name circulating backstage was Logan Paul, which POST Wrestling was told is the plan according to someone with knowledge of the situation.

We were informed that it is expected to lead to a tag match at WrestleMania 38 in April.

Paul appeared on an edition of “Moist TV” last August with The Miz and John Morrison in San Diego, California.

Paul was also involved in last year’s WrestleMania 37 event where he appeared in Sami Zayn’s corner and took a Stunner from Kevin Owens after the match.
