WWE issues press release about the termination of their partnership with Russian broadcaster.

A press release was issued today by WWE to announce the termination of their partnership with ‘Match’, which is a Russian sports channel. The WWE Network in Russia has been shut down. With WWE making this official, Russia will not have access to any WWE programming.

STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– WWE released the following statement today:

“WWE has terminated its partnership with Russian broadcaster Match and shut down WWE Network in Russia effective immediately.

The move eliminates access in Russia to any WWE programming, including the company’s weekly RawSmackDown and NXT shows, its on-demand library, and all of its premium live events, including WrestleMania 38.”
