Five-Way Scramble: Billie Starkz vs. Yoya vs. Tony Deppen vs. Steve Scott vs. Jordan Oliver

The match started before the show even started and it was off in a hurry; after her incredible performance last night, Billie Starkz was super over with the capacity crowd in Detroit. All of the competitors worked at a furious pace with each getting a chance to showcase their offense. Tony Deppen paired off Jordan Oliver, Deppen hit a running double knee to Oliver then launched himself outside the ring taking out Yoya. Billie returned to the ring and caught Deppen with the Gory Special only to be kicked in the face by the taller Jordan Oliver, Steve Scott connected with ‘rana on Yoya followed by an assisted piledriver from Deppen. They tried to do the RKO out of nowhere spot but it was off by a millisecond, nevertheless, the match continued at the same quick pace. Deppen hit a dive, followed by a lowpe from Billie, an Asai moonsault from Oliver, and finally, Steve Scott wiped all the competitors out with a dive while taking a selfie. Yoya climbed the stage but that wasn’t high enough as he climbed the speaker stack and hit a crossbody from the heights and took out everyone, leaving him alone in the ring with Steve Scott. Oliver hit Steve Scott with a clout cutter but Tony Deppen threw Oliver out of the ring and stole the pin.

Tony Deppen won the Five-way scramble

Singles Match: Alex Shelley vs. Nick Wayne

I’ve been watching Alex Shelley matches for the same amount of time Nick Wayne has been alive and the man is as good now as he was in 2006. The Motor City Machine Guns are one of my favorite tag teams of all time. I assume the crowd was going crazy for Shelley but the audio dropped, I truly don’t understand why this is still an issue every single show. The match started off with a series of chain wrestling with the veteran Alex Shelley getting the better of the situation for the first opening minutes of the match. I would assume that they would use the same ‘blueprint’ as the Oliver v. Shelley match from last night. Shelley went to the floor early and was caught with a couple of penalty kicks from the spry Nick Wayne, Shelley tried to escape to the other side of the ring but was caught and hit with an arm ringing. Wayne went for a dive but it was blocked by a forearm shot to the face, and grounded the young stud with a figure four leg lock. Wayne was able to get to the ropes which broke the hold and allowed him to hit a double stomp followed by a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Wayne was heavily selling his leg for the rest of the matchup. Wayne attempted a Swanton but Shelley got his knees up and planted Wayne with a back suplex for a near fall. Shelley retained control of the matchup with Wayne getting spurts of offense in between the flurry of offense, most notably locking in a cross armbreaker which caused Shelley to sell the shoulder and arm for the rest of the match. Shelley hit an inverted atomic drop from the top rope, went for the sliced bread but Wayne avoided it and connected with a head kick and superkick. Shelley hit a vicious DDT that planted Wayne on top of his head for the victory. Incredible matchup between these two amazing athletes.

Alex Shelley Defeated Nick Wayne

Singles Match: Chris Dickinson vs. ACH

The match started with an attempted Greco Roman knuckle lock which led to them quickly scrambling for position on the mat. Dickinson connected with a vicious back elbow which dropped ACH and allowed Dickinson to take control of the match. Both men unloaded on each other with dueling sequences of chops and near falls. ACH unsuccessfully attempted to take Dickinson off his feet with a series of clotheslines, Dickinson goaded ACH into another one and cut him off with a back suplex, clothesline into the corner, and a dragon screw which set up another German Suplex. Not to be outdone, ACH hit his own deadlift German suplexes as the audio once again crapped out, followed by the stream only for a minute or so but the previous point remains the same. The show returned with ACH selling his back on the concrete and Dickinson in the pursuit; Dickinson brought ACH back into the ring and locked in the figure four. ACH broke out of the hold and went for a double stomp from the top rope but Dickinson dodged but was caught with a superkick and brainbuster for a two count. Dickinson fired back up and hit a series of Dragon Screws and a brainbuster for a near fall followed by the bulldog choke for the victory.

Chris Dickinson defeated ACH

“ACH where are you going, get your ass back in here, Detroit HOW THE FUCK IS EEVERYONE DOING TONIGHT! Since I’ve come back from my injury it’s been a who’s who of the best wrestlers in the world. ACH is one of the best wrestlers in the entire world, it doesn’t matter where I go, who I face, when I step in the ring with ACH, there is no other athlete like him, he’s a freak ACH Chant But I was the better man tonight my friend but that doesn’t mean that I won’t do it again”

GCW Tag Team Championship Match: BUSSY (champions) vs. Gringo Loco and ASF

EFFY and Gringo started off the match, and ran a Lucha spot but it was followed up with EFFY hitting a back body drop and a gayrancula. EFFY hit a Lucha armdrag but Gringo was able to stay on his feet as EFFY dropped to his knees and tagged in Allie Katch. ASF and Katch locked up and started to work over each other’s arms, with ASF hitting a casadora into a Rana followed by a Gringo Loco assisted ‘rana. Gringo hit a double arm drag that sent both members of BUSSY to the floor. ASF hit a dive followed by a massive senton from Gringo Loco, back in the ring ASF hit a moonsault, Gringo went for one of his own but EFFY evaded locked in the London Dungeon, shout out Nigel McGuinness, EFFY tagged in Allie who hit a Bray Wyatt like running crossbody and locked ASF into a submission hold; ASF escaped and hit a top rope Rana onto EFFY followed by a MASSIVE frog splash from Gringo Loco for a two count, Allie hit her running hip attack/cannonball combo followed by a dueling northern lights suplex for a two count. The GCW Tag Team Titles have been BUSSY’s Silver Charm as they have yet to have a bad match since winning the belts. EFFY made the save for her tag team partner who was attacked by Gringo Loco, EFFY connected with the Under the Rainbow followed by an attempted Moonsault but Gringo snuck up the ropes and connected with a top rope Falcon arrow but Katch broke up the pin, they isolated ASF and hit a Doomsday Sack Ryder for the victory. This was a fantastic match that you should go out of your way to see, nonstop action.

BUSSY Retained the GCW Tag Team Championships

Singles Match: Joey Janela vs. Bandido

After his matchup last night with the GCW Ultraviolent Champion, Joey Janela has walked more smoothly to the ring. He noted on social media that he had injured his foot and ankle but when he was launched into the chairs halfway through the match he landed hard on his hip on those tough plastic chairs. Joey sucked in Bandido feigning his inability to walk but charged right at Bandidio and ran the ropes ‘flawlessly’. Joey had control of the match for a little bit but he was spiked on his head with a DDT and taken out on the floor with a tope. Joey went back into the ring and Bandido tried to come off the top rope but was caught with a forearm from Janela which put him back into control of the match. Every time Bandido attempted offense he was cut off by Janela who at this point was moving pretty nimbly. Bandido lept to the top rope and connected with a twisting body press followed by a one-handed military press for a two count. Bandido makes everything look easy, he fluidly climbed the ropes and connected with a frog splash, followed by a Fosbury flop, Bandido hit a fan on the outside, quickly apologized, and lifted the man in the air. While this happened Janela was able to recover in the ring, landing a Spanish fly followed by a German deadlift and a running clothesline. The audio dropped out again. Janela held onto the second rope as Bandido attempted a deadlift suplex, but Joey was able to hit a jumping piledriver. The fight went to the floor and Joey went to the stage, jumped off the stage, and took a cutter onto the apron. Joey would’ve had better odds if he had Placed it on Lucky Dan.

Both men recovered, Bandido hit a brainbuster but Joey rolled him up and grabbed the tights for the victory.

As he was leaving, Joey grabbed the ‘Piss Jug’ again and took another drink, which grossed out commentary. Prazak said that it couldn’t be piss, he’s in the front row. How would it even work? Kevin Gill replied, “He might have a urine cloak.” A tremendous line.

Joey Janela Defeated Bandido

Singles Match: 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Minoru Suzuki

Minoru Suzuki has wrestled for Game Changer Wrestling more than any other American-based company. The referee is Dan Pyrch, no relation. The match started with Suzuki continually working over 2 Cold’s arms and neck, Suzuki was doing most of the heavy lifting/movement in the matchup. Scorpio was able to lock in an abdominal stretch for a second but Suzuki turned the move around and continued to work on Scorpio’s arm. The two men traded headbutts, Scorpio attempted a couple but Suzuki didn’t move. Suzuki and Scorpio traded vicious chops in the center of the ring as the crowd got to their feet; after Scorpio got distracted, Suzuki was able to lock in his headstand armbreaker which did further damage to his already injured arm of Scorpio. The two men battled on the floor trading punches and strikes as the crowd chanted ‘Over Here!.’ Back in the ring, Suzuki continued to lock in arm-based submission holds with Scorpio writhing in pain every time. Scorpio hit the flipping leg drop and landed squarely on Suzuki’s chest, knocking the wind out of the legend, and allowing Scorpio to land some strings of offense. Suzuki once again got back to his feet and connected with a handful of brutal chops that took Scorpio off of his feet, Suzuki connected with the Gotch Style Piledriver for the victory. Clunky at times but it was a very fun match between these two legends, Suzuki is a God.

GCW Ultraviolent Championship Deathmatch: John Wayne Murdoch vs. Hoodfoot

Emil J makes an announcement that there’s going to be a lot of broken glass flying around so if you don’t want to get hit, move back, but if you’re a sick fuck you can stay right where you are. No one moved. It’s good to see Hoodfoot wearing a shirt, and long trunks, he has gained an insane amount of scars in a short period of time. Hoodfoot went face-first into a bundle of light tubes in the corner but he was unphased, he went for a cannonball but Murdoch moved out of the way and blasted him with another bundle across the back. The two went to the floor, Murdoch started to carve away at the forehead of Hoodfoot with the broken shards of tube, Hoodfoot was bleeding from the head at this point as Murdoch continued to blast away. Hoodfoot connected with a drop toe hold broke a tube over the head of the Duke and started to carve away at JWM’s forehead. They traded more light tube shots followed by a series of headbutts, Hoodfoot’s face was a crimson mask as he retrieved a pane of glass; he attempted to put the champion through the glass but took too long as Murdoch was able to recover and suplexed Hoofoot through the pane for the victory.

John Wayne Murdoch Retained the GCW Ultraviolent Championship

“Last night it started off with Colon calling me out, Tonight I call you out you dumb bitch, where you at? I just wanted to let you know, that there is no way you’re winning another TOS as long as my heart is beating. You call yourself one of the top deathmatch guys in the world, well you’re up next, follow that motherfucker”- John Wayne Murdoch

TNT Extreme Division Championship Deathmatch: Jimmy Lloyd vs. TNT Extreme Division Champion Alex Colon

Once again, Jimmy Lloyd stepped up for the company, AJ Gray was unable to attend due to travel issues. They didn’t sweep up any of the broken glass from the prior match. The two battled over a bundle of tubes, Colon hit a tope with a bundle of tubes shattering them on the head of Jimmy Lloyd, Colon went for another one but was caught and power slammed through a pane of glass on the floor. Lloyd hit Colon with a tube and carved away at Colon’s forehead and arm; Lloyd hit another light tube-assisted suplex. Colon was repeatedly slammed on the broken glass which turned his white jersey red in a hurry. Lloyd set up a pane of glass in the center of the ring and pulled Colon off the top rope sending him flying through the pane of glass for a two count; Lloyd broke another tube on Colon’s head and carved away, cutting open the scarred head of Alex Colon. Lloyd attempted to hit Colon with a light tube cross but was placed on a chair and Colon ran into him with double knees. Jimmy’s arm was cut open at this point as they fought over a pane of glass, Jimmy won the battle and hit the assault driver through the pane for a two count. Jimmy attempted a piledriver on a bundle of tubes but Colon blocked it and punched Jimmy right in the face and broke two tubes over his head, Lloyd connected with a tube across the chest followed by a package piledriver for a two count. Lloyd set up another pane of glass in the ring as they fought on the apron, Colon got Jimmy up on his shoulders and planted him through a pane of glass that was on the floor followed by a double stomp through the pane of glass that Jimmy had set up for the victory. Colon followed that JWM match with ease.

Alex Colon Retained the TNT Extreme Division Championship

Colon cut a post-match promo and called JWM to the ring, JWM laid the belt in the center of the ring as both men faced off. JWM said either you get a title shot or you get to enter TOS; you can’t have both. Cage of Survival.

High Incident Match: The Briscoes vs. The Second Gear Crew

The setup for this match was absolutely insane, the hard camera couldn’t fit the entire structure in the frame. The team started brawling in the ring as best as they could due to the tables, both teams bailed to the floor and continued to beat each other up. Mark Briscoe attempted to put Matthew Justice through a table first with a Death Valley Driver and then with a coast-to-coast double stomp but the table didn’t break, and Justice’s chest absorbed the full impact of each maneuver. The third time was the charm as Briscoe powerbombed a bloody Justice through the table, both teams continued to brawl on the floor softening each other up before they made the final climb up the scaffolding. There were two tables propped up on the floor, Mark attempted to climb the scaffolding but Justice recovered and followed him up and hit a leg sweep which sent both of them crashing through the tables on the floor. Justice suplexed Mark Briscoe on the stage which allowed him to set up a table, Warner joined his partner on the stage and they choke slammed Mark through the table. Mance Warner and Jay Briscoe faced off in the center of the ring and started to punch each other in the face, once again trying to weaken each other enough to make the climb to the top of the scaffolding. Jay Briscoe and Mancer were jumped, and placed on the tables in the ring as Mark and Matthew climbed to the top of the scaffolding; the scaffolding had to have been at least 20 to 25 feet above the ring.

Briscoe and Justice met in the center, jumped off, and put Warner and Briscoe through the tables for an official draw. This was a great match, all four men worked their asses off leaving all of them bloodied to some extent.

Match Result: Draw
