TKO has cited the agreement to move Janel Grant’s claims against Vince McMahon and WWE into arbitration in its latest quarterly filing.
The company’s Form 10-Q discusses the matter under “WWE Legal Proceedings.” It refers to Grant as a “former WWE employee” rather than identifying her by name.
The filing summarizes the allegations in Grant’s January 2024 complaint:
On January 25, 2024, a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit against WWE, Mr. McMahon and another former WWE executive, John Laurinaitis, in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut alleging, among other things, that she was sexually assaulted by Mr. McMahon and Mr. Laurinaitis and asserting claims under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act.
Laurinaitis was dismissed from the case with prejudice on May 30, 2025, pursuant to a stipulation of dismissal. WWE subsequently moved to compel the remaining claims into arbitration.
TKO’s filing then records the agreement reached by Grant, McMahon and WWE after the quarter ended:
On July 20, 2026, the parties executed an agreement under which the former employee agreed to submit her claims to arbitration. On July 24, 2026, consistent with that agreement, the former employee filed a stipulation of voluntary dismissal with prejudice of her federal lawsuit.
Attorneys for Grant, McMahon and WWE signed the stipulation which nonetheless preserved the parties’ ability to pursue their claims and defenses through arbitration.
Both the written arbitration agreement and the dismissal occurred after the reporting period ended on June 30. TKO nevertheless included the developments as updates to WWE’s legal proceedings.
The 10-Q provides no updates on the forthcoming arbitration process.
