WWE Raw notes: Seth Rollins ambushes Cody Rhodes, Dana Brooke pins Becky Lynch, Street Profits

Rollins shows no remorse for Cody Rhodes, Dana Brooke gets a win over Becky Lynch, Street Profits earn tag title match, 'Okerlund Position'

Opening up Monday Night Raw was Cody Rhodes who scored a win over Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell and wrestled with a completely torn pectoral muscle. As Rhodes was addressing the crowd, he hinted at the idea of competing in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match in early July. Rollins then made his way out to the ring and shook Rhodes’ hand and verbally expressed the respect he has for him.

As Rhodes was exiting the entrance area, Rollins ambushed him from behind with a sledgehammer. On commentary, Corey Graves stated that Rhodes is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday.

Via countout, The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) were able to defeat Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso). With that victory, Ford and Dawkins secured themselves a shot at the titles.

Dana Brooke and Becky Lynch were scheduled to go one-on-one but 24/7 Champion Akira Tozawa ran out to the ring. Brooke ended up pinning Tozawa to become champion and Becky Lynch issued a challenge to Brooke for the belt. Dana got a win over Becky Lynch as Asuka held Lynch’s feet down during a pin.

Coming off of his loss to Bobby Lashley at Hell in a Cell, Omos was back in action and he defeated Cedric Alexander in a matter of seconds. After the match was over, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler appeared to be interviewed by Kevin Patrick. The platform they were on was referred to as the ‘Okerlund Position’. MVP then approached the platform to confront the former Raw Tag Team Champions but was superkicked by Ziggler.

Ezekiel fell in defeat to Kevin Owens at Hell in a Cell but after picking up a win over Otis, he issued a challenge to Owens for the 6/13 Raw. Owens said he could get the match as long as Ezekiel admitted that he is Elias. Ezekiel said he was Elias to get the match, but took it back once Owens agreed.

To promote the new season of Miz & Mrs., Miz and Maryse hosted an episode of ‘Miz TV’ with Riddle as the special guest. Riddle challenged Miz to a match, but Miz only agreed to it after Ciampa attacked Riddle from behind. Riddle ended up defeating Miz.

Players from the NFL’s Green Bay Packers were in attendance:
