Bryan Danielson Address

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Bryan Danielson right away to start the show. Danielson takes the mic from Schiavone and says he’s not going to give it back and talks about how this week is a great week to be a professional wrestling fan. He starts talking about Forbidden Door with two of the best companies in the entire world and Blood & Guts next week on Dynamite. The crowd chants ‘Blood & Guts’ and Danielson says they are excited as much as he is and says how he was excited to be in both of those matches and talks about how Chris Jericho paid Zack Sabre Jr. to challenge him and prove he’s a better technical wrestler than Danielson. Danielson was excited to prove that wasn’t true and crush Sabre’s trachea and continue that with Blood & Guts.

He says he has some good news and some bad news, starting with the bad news being he is not cleared to compete at either Forbidden Door or Blood & Guts. He tells people to not worry about his medical capacity as he will be back and there’s nobody who can wrestle like he can right now and that’s not even the good news. The good news is that since he is a judgmental prick and has high standards and has found the person to take his place at Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts and everybody will be astounded. The crowd starts asking who and mentions that he came out of the bad guy tunnel and he won’t tell the fans or Sabre until Sunday. Zack Sabre Jr. comes out and stands on the stage talking trash to Danielson.

No Respect For Anyone

We go backstage to Jon Moxley who says Blood & Guts will be personal and talks about what the Jericho Appreciation Society did to him and his team and next week they will find out if they can survive being locked in with dogs like Santana, Ortiz, Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta and himself and he hates Chris Jericho. We will find out how much they are willing to suffer and endure next week. Before that, he teams up with Hiroshi Tanahashi and it’s business but Sunday it’s personal, and once that bell rings he has no respect for anyone.

Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero) vs. Will Ospreay & Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis)

This is Orange Cassidy’s first match since Revolution in March coming back from a shoulder injury and Will Ospreay still doesn’t have possession of the IWGP United States Championship as they said Juice Robinson hasn’t given it up, as he didn’t physically lose the match. Rocky Romero and Kyle Fletcher start the match but quickly tag out to Trent Beretta and Mark Davis. Beretta rocks Davis with a suplex before tagging in Cassidy to a big pop from the crowd and a ‘freshly squeezed’ chant. Cassidy quickly puts his hands in his pocket and hits a shotgun dropkick and tags out to Romero with his foot. Along with Beretta, they start hitting Forever Clotheslines. The United Empire takes advantage and starts attacking them on the outside as they go picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Beretta takes down Fletcher and tags out to Cassidy. Cassidy starts hitting his kicks at Aussie Open before delivering a double hurricanrana followed by another one off the ropes and Tornado DDT to Fletcher. Cassidy challenges Ospreay to come in, who does and gets clotheslined to the outside by Beretta. The babyfaces all hit dives to the outside as the crowd is amped up. They continue the offense on Ospreay including a dropkick and a splash by Cassidy for a two count. Ospreay blocks a DDT attempt and hits an enziguri kick and tries a suplex, but Cassidy reverses to a Stundog Millionaire. Davis and Romero tag in as Romero hits a hurricanrana before they go into a chop exchange. Fletcher tags in and they work on Romero in the corner with clotheslines and an assisted sit-out powerbomb for a two by Fletcher. Romero comes back with a Sliced Bread before everybody else runs in and hits some offense before Roppongi Vice hits a double knee strike on Fletcher. They attempt a Strong Zero, but Ospreay breaks it up. Davis follows with a piledriver on Beretta, but Cassidy breaks that up. Ospreay tries a dive on the outside, but Cassidy gets out of the way and he gets taken out by Romero. Inside, Beretta hits a DDT on Davis and tags out to Cassidy who hits the Orange Punch on Fletcher for the pin and the win.

Winners: Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) by pinfall at 11:36

The IWGP Tag Team Champions, Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan come out and all five members of the United Empire start surrounding Roppongi Vice and Cassidy, but FTR come out to make it even.

Two Options for Samoa Joe

We go backstage to Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh as Dutt is very happy at Satnam’s in ring debut and they are going to celebrate in India. Lethal says before that he has to become ROH Television Champion but Samoa Joe hasn’t come back to work. He gives Joe two options to tape up the shoulder and face him or he can vacate the title and give it back to Lethal.

Christian Uncaged

Tony Schiavone introduces Christian Cage who comes out to a sea of boos for what he did to Jungle Boy, and he is screaming heel with a black turtleneck and brown jacket. Christian starts by telling the crowd he can stand there all night if they don’t shut up and says they aren’t intelligent and it’s rude for him to try and talk over them. Cage brings up how Jungle Boy eliminated him from the Casino Battle Royal and he won’t get away with it and was more upset at the reaction when he got eliminated. Cage mentions how Jungle Boy cost him a roster bonus by eliminating him and it got him thinking a bit and he did a background check. Cage mentions social media and people tweeting away like they know anything that goes on in wrestling. Cage goes all over the place a bit and talks about how wrestlers need to have matches that people won’t forget the week after, and he’s had pay-per-views named after his matches. Schiavone goes to the footage of what Cage said to Jungle Boy’s mother and sister last week with him calling Jungle Boy a piece of shit. Cage talks about how Jungle Boy’s mom was sweet on him and wanted him to be Jungle Boy’s father. Cage said he never wanted to be a father figure and said Jungle Boy had a father and his father is dead as the whole crowd gasps and boos. Cage keeps going on about Jungle Boy taking an early retirement which prompts Luchasaurus to come out. Luchasaurus starts choking out Cage in the corner, as Cage is screaming that needs to talk and asks if he ‘remembers what happened to Marko?’. He says that he is like a son to him and they need to talk but not in front of these people as Luchasaurus calms down and they hug and they leave the ring together.

Challenging Sting & His Cronies

We go to the Young Bucks and Kyle O’Reilly backstage as they talk about getting the tag team titles back and they are back on top and are the first-ever two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions. Matt Jackson talks about if they will be on Forbidden Door and says it’s a pretty safe bet they will be. O’Reilly is pissed off at what Darby Allin and Sting did to Bobby Fish but threatens to sue Sting and talk about them teaming with El Phantasmo and Hikuleo to take on Sting and his ‘cronies’ at Forbidden Door.

AEW All-Atlantic Championship Qualifying Match: Malakai Black vs. Penta Oscuro (w/ Alex Abrahantes)

This is for the final spot in the four-way at Forbidden Door along with PAC, Miro, and Tomohiro Ishii for the vacant AEW All-Atlantic Championship. They go at it right away with Penta diving out to Black on the outside and showing a little bit of a back injury. Back inside, Penta hits a backstabber for a two count. They fight on the apron, as Black trips him off and drives him onto the barricade with kicks as they go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Penta hits a cross body to Black sending him to the apron. They go back and forth on the apron, as Penta tries to hit the Fear Factor, but Black escapes out and Penta hits a rolling cutter for a two. They fight on the top rope, as Black jumps off and hits a rising knee strike sending Penta to the outside where he meets him with a moonsault to the outside. Black follows with a double foot stomp for a two count. They head back to the top rope where Penta hits an avalanche Fear Factor but both men are laid out after. Penta tries the Made in Japan but his back gives out. Black catches Penta’s foot and hits his back heel kick for the pin and the win.

Winner: Malakai Black by pinfall at 9:56, to advance

PAC runs out and goes face to face with Malakai, but we cut to Miro on the screen who talks about walking through the Forbidden Door and redeeming them all and this Sunday he will send them to meet their maker and they should tell that coward they need to talk.

Wardlow’s World

We get a video package from Wardlow who says the only thing he wants is the TNT Championship and once Scorpio Sky is healed he will welcome him to Wardlow’s World.

Adam Page vs. Silas Young

They two last faced in Toronto at ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds 2018 in Toronto. Adam Cole comes out for commentary for this match as Silas Young comes out to a hometown pop. Right away Young takes Page off his feet as Cole and Excalibur talk about their history in Ring of Honor. They go into a chop exchange as Young gets taken down but comes right back with an eye rake. Page takes Young to the outside where he hits him with a top rope moonsault as they go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Page hits a superplex before they go into a strike exchange. Page comes right back with a fall away slam as the crowd gets behind him. Page dives off the top rope with a clothesline, but Young comes right back with and tries a headstand into a moonsault but Page stops him, takes him down with a clothesline and hits a Buckshot Lariat for the pin and the win.

Winner: Adam Page by pinfall at 8:45

Who Will Face Jay White?

Adam Cole gets on the mic right away and tells them to stop the music and asks who wants to hear story time with Adam Cole, but gets quickly interrupted by Jay White. White apologies for interrupting but says he owes Cole an explanation. He’s been giving it a lot of thought and he’s responsible for making the Forbidden Door as big as it can be. White says even though he wants to make this about Bullet Club, Cole can’t be his opponent because he lost to Page twice. White gets in the ring and tells Page that it won’t be him either but Page knocks the mic out of his hand and attacks White. Cole runs it but gets knocked off the apron, but as Page goes for the Buckshot Lariat on White, Cole hits him with a low blow. As White is attacking Page, he turns around and sees Cole with his title but Kazuchika Okada’s music hits and he runs into the ring. Okada starts attacking White and Cole before going face to face with Page but they team up and defend themselves against White and Cole.

Baddie Search

Tony Schiavone is backstage with Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan, and Stokely Hathaway who talk about Red Velvet being injured. Kiera blames Kris Statlander for that as Hathaway talks about them looking for a new Baddie and gives out requirements.

When we come back, we hear from Athena and Statlander who make fun of them looking for a new Baddie and they don’t care who it is as they will have Willow Nightingale.

Marina Shafir (w/ Nyla Rose) vs. Toni Storm

They take it to the mat right away as Shafir tries a cross armbreaker but Storm puts her foot on the rope to break it up. Storm comes right back with a dropkick, but Shafir takes her right back down with a high kick sending her to the apron where Shafir kicks her to the outside. Rose attacks her with a senton as they go picture-in-picture.

When we come back, they are in the middle of an exchange with Storm landing a headbutt before getting kicked to the outside by Shafir. Shafir follows her and starts attacking her against the steel steps, but Storm comes back with a DDT before sending Shafir back inside. Storm hits a release German Suplex followed by a hip attack in the corner but Nyla distracts the referee by trying to grab Shafir. Storm comes right back with a roll-up for the pin.

Winner: Toni Storm by pinfall at 7:20

Nyla Rose jumps in the ring and starts attacking Storm as Shafir joins in. Thunder Rosa runs in for the save as they take out Rose and Shafir. Storm uses Rosa’s title before slowly giving it back to her.

Dudes With Attitudes

We go backstage to Darby Allin and Sting who talk about what they did to Bobby Fish and say that Kyle O’Reilly saying he’s injured is just him ducking them at Forbidden Door and say they will team up with Shingo Takagi and Hiromu Takahashi to take on the Young Bucks, El Phantasmo and Hikuleo.
