A debut taking place at Derby City Rumble.
Louisville, Kentucky is playing host to IMPACT Wrestling’s Derby City Rumble show on July 15th. It was previously made official that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are going one-on-one at the show and at the conclusion of tonight’s IMPACT on AXS, the announcement was made that KUSHIDA is debuting for IMPACT on 7/15.

The former 5-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion returned to New Japan Pro-Wrestling after wrapping up his run with WWE.
KUSHIDA will be present at the NJPW STRONG ‘High Alert’ taping in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 24th.
Derby City Rumble is going to be the first time KUSHIDA and Alex Shelley are on the same card since they competed in the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in early 2020.
