AEW Rampage rebounded this past Friday with its highest figures in over a month.

The August 5th live edition of the show from Grand Rapids averaged 468,000 viewers and approximately 196,000 (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, finishing fifth among cable originals per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

It was Rampage’s highest overall audience since July 1st and the best 18-49 figure since July 22nd.

This came one week after Rampage posted one of its lowest figures ever with 375,000 viewers and 140,000 in 18-49. This represented increases of 25 and 40 percent respectively.

Rampage’s 18-34 audience was more than double last week’s figure and was their highest number in the demo since April 29th.

In the 12-34 demo, female viewership was up by 26 percent while the male audience more than tripled from last week.

Adults 35-49 were up by 15 percent and adults 50+ jumped by 11 percent.

The show was strengthened by having interim champion Jon Moxley wrestle on the show against Mance Warner in a title eliminator match and was headlined by a Street Fight between Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland against Tony Nese & Josh Woods.
