KUSHIDA off NJPW’s next event.

As a result of Typhoon Nanmadol, which made landfall in southern Japan over the weekend, New Japan Pro-Wrestling canceled several of their shows. They are resuming their ‘Burning Spirit’ tour on 9/21 but KUSHIDA has been pulled from the event due to a suspected skin disease.

KUSHIDA was scheduled to be part of a ten-man tag in the semi-main event.

On the 17th, KUSHIDA missed that day’s show due to a fever. His COVID-19 antigen test came back negative.

Over the summer, he made his IMPACT Wrestling debut and established a trio with the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). KUSHIDA was most recently in action on 9/15.
