New Japan Pro Wrestling has made several additions to the Declaration of Power card next month at Sumo Hall.

The October event, which had previously been promoted as ‘King of Pro Wrestling’ event is set to be headlined by Jay White defending the IWGP heavyweight championship against Tama Tonga along with Kazuchika Okada vs. JONAH in a pair of G1 rematches.

On Monday, the promotion announced a KOPW 2022 match between holder Shingo Takagi and El Phantasmo in a ‘Who’s Your Daddy?’ match where the loser must state that the winner is their Daddy on the microphone after the match.

They have also added a non-title match between IWGP junior heavyweight champion Taiji Ishimori and KUSHIDA.

KUSHIDA was removed from several matches over the past week due to contracting hand, foot, and mouth disease.

Declaration of Power will also see the homecoming of Ren Narita, who left on an excursion three years ago following the Young Lion Cup. Since then, he has been a mainstay on New Japan Strong and returned for a one-off match against Katsuyori Shibata at Wrestle Kingdom 16 this past January.

Declaration of Power will stream live at 4 a.m. ET on Monday, October 10th on New Japan World:
*IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Jay White (champion) vs. Tama Tonga
*Kazuchika Okada vs. JONAH
*KOPW 2022, Who’s Your Daddy Match: Shingo Takagi (holder) vs. El Phantasmo
*Non-Title: Taiji Ishimori vs. KUSHDA
*Ren Narita’s Homecoming match
