NXT saw an interesting result with this week’s viewership figures with an increase in its demo figure but a loss in its overall viewership.

The September 27th taped edition of NXT averaged 660,000 viewers and approximately 209,000 (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The show ranked #14 among cable originals, which was led by The Weather Channel’s coverage of Hurricane Ian.

NXT dropped 4% in overall viewership, which was its lowest audience since August 9th. However, the show’s 18-49 audience grew by 5.5% and was the show’s highest since the Heatwave special on August 16th.

In the 18-49 demo, male viewership was up by 11% while females dropped by 12%.

Adults 18-34 increased by 23% after a drop last week.

Adults 50+ fell by 14% and was its lowest figure in that demo since August 9th.

In Canada, the show did not finish among the top ten sports programs in the country averaging 42,000 viewers and 15,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360, which represented declines of 29% and 35% respectively from last week.

After two weeks of taped episodes, NXT returns with a live episode next Tuesday.
