Liger heaps praise onto Will Ospreay.

At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega clashed for the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship. Ospreay was on the losing end of the bout

On commentary for Wrestle Kingdom 17 was Jushin Thunder Liger and on the lead up to the show, he previewed the match card for Tokyo Sports. While commenting on the Ospreay versus Omega bout, Liger spoke highly of Will and feels he has a unique aura about him right now.

Liger added that Will is a ‘top of the line’ talent and made a remark about WWE possibly pulling him away. He said maybe Ospreay will be the best foreigner in the history of New Japan.

Ospreay has an aura right now. He’s also top of the line. If you’re not careful, WWE will take you away, dude. Maybe he’ll be the best foreigner in the 50-year history of New Japan. He has everything. He’s got all that volume, and he’s able to use all that space and apply his moves with precision. His mileage isn’t going down. I wonder how far he can go.
