Arn Anderson recounts Tony Khan’s reaction to ‘Glock’ promo, TNT rep said it was ‘vintage Arn’

Arn Anderson assumes what saved him was the endorsement of a TNT representative who was up to speed on the product

Anderson thinks what saved him was the response from the TNT rep.

Back in September 2021, there was a segment on AEW Dynamite when Arn Anderson confronted Cody Rhodes after a loss that him and Lee Johnson suffered.

Anderson went on to make a comment about hypothetically pulling out a ‘Glock’ and shooting someone who attempted to rob him in comparison to how Rhodes would handle a situation as such.

On the newest episode of AEW Unrestricted, Arn looked back at that comment and recalled Tony Khan’s reaction to it. He stated that Khan spoke to a representative at TNT who described it as ‘vintage Arn Anderson.’

Well, he (Tony Khan) came back and this is what I said, I said, ‘Tony, I hope that was alright.’ He said, ‘No, no, we’re good, we’re good. I talked to the guy at TNT,’ and this is what saved my ass I guess; thank God, there must have been someone that was really in-tune to the product or had some stroke or something who knew me. He said, ‘You know what? That’d been anybody else, it would have been a different story but for him, that’s vintage Arn Anderson. He can get away with it.’ So that support from whoever that came from, thank you.

Present day, Rhodes is in WWE and is headed to WrestleMania 39 to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
