Happiness is what matters the most, says Belair.
This weekend, Mercedes Moné is going to be defending the IWGP Women’s Championship at NJPW Sakura Genesis in a three way involving AZM and Hazuki.
It’ll be her first defense of the title since winning the belt from KAIRI at NJPW Battle in the Valley.
This past Sunday, Bianca Belair continued her reign as Raw Women’s Champion when she bested Asuka at WrestleMania 39 night two. Belair and Moné main evented night one of WrestleMania in 2021. While Belair was being interviewed by Sportskeeda at the WrestleMania press junket, she was asked if she has a message for Moné and said the following:
I just want her (Mercedes Moné) to be happy. I know she’s out there living her dream and she’s in Japan and she’s doing her thing so, that’s all that matters at the end of the day is happiness.
If Moné is to retain at Sakura Genesis, next up will be a defense against Mayu Iwatani at STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom on April 23rd.
