G1 Climax returns to the summer as New Japan releases schedule

New Japan Pro Wrestling has released the dates and venues for this year’s G1 Climax tournament.

After taking place throughout September and October in 2021 and 2022, this year marks a return to its traditional July/August slot.

The G1 Climax 33 will kick off on Saturday, July 15^th and Sunday, July 16^th in Hokkaido.

The semifinals will be held at Sumo Hall in Ryogoku on Saturday, August 12^th, with the finals taking place at the same venue on Sunday, August 13^th.
