CM Punk will headline one of three title matches on the next AEW Collision with a match for his “real” World Championship against Ricky Starks.
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will serve as a special official for the match that is part of a notably stacked card announced a week in advance of the episode, which goes head-to-head with WWE SummerSlam.
There may be questions over the legitimacy of Punk’s title, but two other matches were also announced for championships that are not in dispute.
FTR will face Big Bill and Brian Cage for the AEW Tag Team Championships. The pair earned the shot by winning the Blind Eliminator Tag Tournament.
Additionally, Kris Statlander will defend her TBS Championship against Mercedes Martinez.
