Starks further speaks highly of Punk.
Going into CM Punk and Ricky Starks’ ‘real’ AEW World Title match on the August 5th episode of Collision, both talents have spoken highly of one another on-screen and in their media appearances leading up to the match.
Starks continued that trend when he was interviewed by DAZN Wrestling. Starks called Punk the last of a true superstar that exists in pro wrestling.
(CM) Punk is a future Hall of Famer. He is the last of a true superstar that we have in wrestling… Personal reasons aside, his career is pretty decorated in that regard.
Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat will be the outside official for Starks and Punk’s match. Currently scheduled for the show is the following:

- TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Martinez
