Kevin Nash revealed that he pitched WWE on having a non-wrestling role at the recent SummerSlam event in Detroit.

Nash, who is a native of Detroit, shared the news on his Kliq This podcast that he threw out the idea to those in WWE about being the “Master of Ceremonies” on the show, but never heard a response.

When asked if he gave WWE enough lead time for such a role to be approved, Nash said he pitched it several months ago and would have envisioned himself welcoming everyone to the show or interviewing the fans outside with a camera crew.

Nash was in Detroit over SummerSlam weekend for WrestleCon.
