Billy Corgan: Tim Storm told me that he’s never going to retire

Corgan discussed Storm’s match at NWA 75.

Since moving away from full-time in-ring competition under the NWA banner, Tim Storm became the organization’s color commentator. He’ll be wrestling for NWA for the first time since the summer of 2022.

Storm is scheduled to be in action at NWA 75 against Jax Dane in a No Disqualification match. As Billy Corgan was speaking about the card with Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, he touched on Storm and Dane’s bout and recounted a conversation he recently had with the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

He asked Storm if retirement is in his future and Storm replied by saying he’s never retiring.

There’s Tim Storm. Beloved, babyface, everybody loves Tim Storm. Of course, Tim, you know, mostly known to NWA fans these days as the color announcer for our broadcasting and I asked him recently, I said, ‘Are you planning on retiring at some point? Is that in your future?’ And he said, ‘I’m never going to retire.’

Storm regularly wrestles on the independents. He is 58 years old and in the midst of his 23rd year as an active wrestler.
