Two title matches took place on Saturday during the second show of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Road to Destruction tour.
At Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Zack Sabre Jr. put his NJPW World TV Championship on the line against Satoshi Kojima.
The NEVER Openweight Six-Man Titles were also defended as champions Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii faced Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Togi Makabe & Tiger Mask.
The main event featured an elimination match between United Empire and Los Ingobernables De Japon. LIJ’s Shingo Takagi, Tetsuya Naito, Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI faced Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan, HENARE and Callum Newman.
After the Six-Man Titles were successfully defended, Tanahashi called on IMPACT Wrestling to put together a trios team to compete in a future championship match.
