Friday Night SmackDown hit a three-week high going into Fastlane while AEW Rampage saw a drop in its female viewership.

The October 6 edition of SmackDown from St. Louis averaged 2,319,000 viewers and 838,000 (0.64) in the 18-49 demographic, which were the show’s best numbers since September 15 featuring The Rock. (Data: Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics)

While SmackDown’s viewership only gained 1% this week, the 18-49 audience was up by 6% due to males increasing from 500,000 to 557,000 this week while women were down by 4%.

Adults 18-34 fell from 287,000 to 254,000 as a result of the female audience in the demo decreasing by 28% to 84,000 while males were identical from last week.

Adults 35-49 grew by 16% to 584,000 this week.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday in Canada, ratings are delayed this week.

This past Friday’s episode of Rampage averaged 365,000 viewers and 163,000 (0.12) in the 18-49 demographic.

The viewership grew 1% from last week while the 18-49 audience dropped by 12%.

The 18-49 demo breakdown saw males grow from 111,000 to 113,000 while females in the category dropped from 73,000 to 49,000 or 33% – its lowest in three weeks.

Adults 18-34 dropped 10% from 60,000 to 54,000 with females also being the reason for the decline going from 22,000 to 11,000 while males grew 13%.

The pattern extended to adults 35-49 where the female audience fell from 51,000 to 38,000 and males posted a 4% loss from the previous week.

Rampage was headlined by Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida beating Nyla Rose & Marina Shafir with the show including a four-way match as Komander beat Johnny TV, Lince Dorado & Penta El Zero Miedo to set up an ROH Championship with Eddie Kingston the next night.
