It’s a matter of time and schedule.

On the 10/10 episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland kicked off the show to determine the next challenger to Christian Cage’s TNT Championship. Danielson came out on top and his getting his title shot this Saturday on Collision.

Since Danielson has been with AEW, he’s been asked multiple times about the possibility of him competing in Japan again. He addressed it once more while co-hosting The Nikki & Brie Show with his wife, Brie Garcia. Danielson stated that he loved wrestling in Japan and him wrestling there again is just a matter of schedule and time.

Maybe (Danielson responded when asked if he’ll wrestle in Japan again)… I never say never.

Wrestling in Japan is one of my favorite places in the world to wrestle if not the favorite place and so, yeah, I’ve loved wrestling in Japan and would love to wrestle there more. It’s just a matter of schedule and it’s just a matter of, you know, time.

After Danielson’s response, Brie chimed in and said it would be fun if they took their children to Japan.

Over the summer, a Bryan Danielson video package aired at NJPW Dominion to set up the singles bout between Danielson and Okada for Forbidden Door II.
