The go-home edition of NXT before Deadline saw a steady audience from the week prior but a large gain with younger males.

The December 5 edition of NXT averaged 626,000 viewers and 252,000 (0.19) in the 18-49 demographic – a drop of 5% in overall viewers and a gain of 6% in the key demo. (Data: Wrestlenomics)

In the 18-49 demo, males were up by 16% this week with 163,000 while females dropped by 10% to 89,000.

The big jump occurred among adults 18-34 which saw an increase of 36% to 124,000 with its largest audience in the demo since November 7. The gain was due to males growing from 46,000 to 81,000 this week as females had a minor drop from last week.

Adults 35-49 did not reflect the same growth with a 14% decline to 128,000 from last week’s performance. This was NXT’s lowest audience in this demo since August 29.

In Canada, the show finished outside of the top ten sports broadcasts for the night with approximately 86,000 viewers and 18,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. The audience was up 15% from last week, although the demo took a hit falling 51% from 37,000 last week.
