Jimmy Jacobs reacts to idea of being asked to wrestle on AEW TV, says ROH appearance was just fine for him

The idea of Jacobs competing at a high level does not peak his interest.

Jimmy Jacobs has an in-ring career that spans over 20 years and for the early portion of 2023, he consistently wrestled on the independents.

Since joining AEW in his behind the scenes role, Jacobs has wrestled once on ROH on HonorClub against Shane Taylor. As Jacobs was being interviewed by Developmentally Speaking, he expressed that the idea of performing at a high level and wrestling on AEW television does not interest him.

The idea of me performing at a high level now, like, just ugh… If Tony Khan was like, ‘Hey Jimmy, I want you to start wrestling on AEW TV’ which he wouldn’t, but if he did, that idea would make me go, ‘Oh God! No. No, no.’ He was gracious enough to allow me to make a little appearance in Ring of Honor or whatever a few months ago in my hometown and that was nice and that was fine for me.’
