ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will defend her title against Hikaru Shida at Supercard of Honor.

The match was set on the March 14th episode of Ring of Honor TV, streaming on HonorClub.

After Athena defeated Aisha, she declared that all the women in the locker room were running scared of her, and she wanted some real competition.

Hikaru Shida then emerged and entered the ring with a kendo stick, pointing it at the title.

Ring of Honor later confirmed that the match was official for Supercard of Honor. The pay-per-view will take place on April 5th at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia during WrestleMania weekend.

Athena has held the ROH Women’s Championship since December 10th, 2022, when she won the title from Mercedes Martinez at that year’s Final Battle pay-per-view.
