‘Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert to be inducted into Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame

Eddie Gilbert is joining the class. 

The sixth inductee into the 2024 Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame class is ‘Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert. The ceremony is airing on Game Changer Wrestling’s YouTube channel on April 7th.

Gilbert spent 16 years of his life as a wrestler. He passed at the age of 33 in 1995. 

During his career, he competed for Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, WWF, Smokey Mountain Wrestling and the National Wrestling Alliance. 

In 1983, Gilbert went on tour with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. 

Gilbert is joining a Hall of Fame class that includes Sabu, Steve Corino, Mercedes Martinez, Trent Acid, The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) and Kevin Hogan.
